Our Story

Keep our community unique. Support local crafters and farmers!

Owner’s of Blackbird Farm opened Keepin’ It Local in 2013 as the perfect spot to sell their farm raised beef and pork. We started in a 20×20 building selling farm raised meats and locally produced products. Upon opening for business, the communities response was tremendous. After only a year, we quickly outgrew our first shop and moved a half mile up the road to a larger storefront. In our new space, we began carrying more crafts, gifts, meats and opened up a cafĂ©. Demand for more products allowed us to continue gaining popularity among the community. The amount of support received from customers is amazing and many great friends have been made along the way. We will continue to grow in 2019. Stay tuned!!!!

Thank you for your support!

Crafters, bakers and farmers of this area possess a tremendous amount of skill and creativity. At our store, they showcase their talent to share with the community. When products are bought here, it supports the entrepreneurs and families in your neighborhoods and you can have pride in knowing where your food and home goods came from.

We carry many fruits and vegetables while they are in season. Between multiple farms who supply to us, there is a wide variety of produce throughout the year. Berries, corn, peaches, apples and more only last as long as the seasons allow, so get them while you can!
